Job Summary

 

Qualtech Systems Inc (QSI) is looking to hire a software engineer with good programming and analytical skills – a position that requires excellent technical skills, willingness to learn new technologies and tools, and good communication skills.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the architecture, specifications and development of QSI products.
  • Develop algorithms, formulate problem, analyze and design the solution.
  • Be able to work independently and as a team.
  • Willing to quickly learn new and emerging technologies and tools.
  • Provide customer support and services.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in developing large, commercial grade software products and solutions.
  • Education : A Bachelors degree in Engineering/Sciences/Mathematics.
  • Languages/APIs : C/C++, Java, MFC
  • Programming Environments : MS Visual Studio, Java Eclipse – must have at least one
  • Database programming : ODBC, JDBC, OCI (Oracle) – must have at least one
  • Software Design/Architecture : UML, SOAP/REST/other Web services, Network programming, JSP/Servlets – must have at least one
  • Software Testing : Knowledge of unit testing, functional & load testing, Familiarity with software testing/load testing tools – desirable
  • Others – J2EE API, Win32 SDK, .NET, Visual Basic, XML/XSL - DOM/SAX API, AJAX, PHP, Python, LINUX/UNIX programming, Database design, UNIX/PC system administration, embedded programming/RTOS – desirable
