Job Summary

 

The Engineering Internship at QSI is a position that requires excellent technical background in the areas of system diagnostics, prognostics and health management as well as excellent communication, presentation and writing abilities.

 

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop algorithms, formulate problem, analyze and design the solution.
  • Contribute to the architecture, specifications and development of QSI products and services.
  • Work with the customers and project team members through development, testing and delivery of the product or service.
  • Participate and lead in the bid development process, including writing proposals, planning and architecting solutions and writing reports.

 

Qualifications

  • Presently enrolled in a Masters in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science.
  • Background in one or more of the following areas: equipment testing and diagnostics, failure of mechanical, structural or electrical systems, probabilistic risk assessment methods (reliability, failure effects analysis, fault-tree analysis, etc.), signal processing (detection and estimation), pattern recognition and machine learning.
  • Software programming with C/C++ or Java and/or experience with MATLAB & LabVIEW.
  • Excellent communication skills including interfacing with customers, generating and delivering presentations, and writing proposals.
